HandyGFE  describes the file manager scripts you can download here so you can easily install game files from you file manager.
There is a script for Nautilus and Thunar.
Download NautilusGFE

Download ThunarGFE

For it to work you need:

>=rubygfe-0.3.2

and all of its dependancies.
